Job summary

Roger Dunn Golf Shops is looking for a friendly cashier to handle all customer transactions and provide an exceptional checkout experience. You will use the store's computer and POS system to process purchases, assist with floor tasks, and help maintain displays.

The role offers flexible scheduling and strong benefits tied to full-time employment, including health coverage and a company HSA contribution. Ideal candidates bring basic retail experience or golf knowledge; training will cover cash

Qualifications

• Knowledge of processing information and merchandise via computer and POS register system.
• Freely access all areas of the store including sales floor, stock area and register area by standing, walking, stooping, crawling, climbing, crouching, kneeling and climbing a ladder; ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds at any time.
• Entry-level candidates are welcome; any experience in retail or golf environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate excellent customer service, keeping in mind that the customer’s last phase of their shopping experience is with the cashier.
• Process information and merchandise through computer and POS register system.
• Assist with floor moves, housekeeping, display maintenance and merchandise replenishment as needed.
• Once fully trained, recognize and suggest ways to improve processes.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
