Job summary

Woodfield Country Club in Boca Raton is seeking a Golf Retail Assistant to manage the golf pro shop's appearance and deliver outstanding service to members and guests. You will support the Golf Professional Staff with retail operations, merchandising displays, inventory management, and presentation of the Golf Shop.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of retail apparel or sporting goods experience, are flexible for weekends and holidays, and possess excellent communication and hospitality skills as

Responsibilities

• Greet Members and Guests by name and serve as the first contact of their day at the club.
• Assist with merchandising displays and golf shop presentation; maintain proper inventory levels.
• Run smooth and accurate inventories at the end of each month.
• Create appealing visual displays to enhance sales in all retail shops.
• Handle golf shop phone calls, emails, marketing and communications.
• Support Golf Professional Staff with purchases, special orders, event registrations, and tee-time management.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the Director of Golf.

Woodfield Country Club in Boca Ratonis seeking aGolf Retail Assistantresponsible for the overall appearance of the golfpro shopas well as providing outstanding customer service to our members and guests. Our Retail Assistant supports ourGolf Professional Staff with all activities relating to the operation of the Club’s golf program, in particular the retail concession and presentation of the Golf Shop.A minimum of 2 years prior experience in retail apparel and/or sporting goodsexperience isrequired. This position requires a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Position Essentials:

• Must be able to handle a fast-paced, high-end, busy and sophisticated environment, have good listening skills as well as the ability to initiate conversation.
• Pay strong attention to detail, strong follow through with tasks, and consistent performance.
• Greet Members and Guests by their name and serves as the first contact to their day at the club, showcasing a knowledge of expected service at a private club.
• Assist with merchandising displays and golf shop presentation and make sure proper inventory levels are maintained.
• Assist in the running of smooth and accurate inventories at the end of each month
• Assist in creating appealing visual displays to enhance sales at all retail shops
• Assist with golf shop phone calls, emails, marketing & communications.
• Works alongside Golf Professional Staff to continuously provide high-quality member services with purchases, special orders, event registration, and tee-time management.
• Performs other appropriate tasks assigned by the Director of Golf.

REQUIREMENTS

• 2-3 years retail apparel and/or sporting goods experience.
• Available to work weekends and holidays
• Exceptional communication and hospitality skills
