Job description

Job Location: Flagstaff, AZ 86001. Salary: $20.00 hourly.

This position requires excellence in customer service to our Forest Highlands Golf Club members and guests. We are relying on you to fulfill customer needs in a variety of responsibilities which can include anything golf related.

Responsibilities

• Consistently offer professional, engaging and friendly service leaving members with a truly memorable experience.


• Responsible for following opening and closing of the cart and staging operations.


• Maintain golf staging area, practice range and practice area set-up to ensure these areas are welcoming and ready for our members and their guests.


• Greet and load golf bags onto cart and drop off member with their golf bag at the staging area prior to their round of golf.


• Upon member completion of golf, take golf cart, remove towels, pencils, score cards, tees, drink bottles/cans, etc., save and clean reusable items, sanitize the cart, and place it in the appropriate staging area for the next member.


• Dispense range balls to members and guests and ensure the driving range is kept clean and organized.


• Collect and clean all range balls used for the practice range utilizing the range picker and hand equipment according to policies and procedures.


• Maintain order and continuity of player traffic.


• Assist with tournament preparation and set-up as it pertains to the Outside Service staff.


• Assist in safeguarding that rules and regulations are being followed to prevent safety issues and inconveniences to other members.


• Handle minor problems and complaints while escalating major issues to appropriate management.


• Inform customers of any unusual conditions on the course.


• Monitor supplies and complete a re-order form when needed.


• Adhere to the golf club’s vehicle handling and safety policies while operating golf carts.


• Follow departmental policies, procedures and service standards.

Qualifications

• Be able to lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
