Job summary

The Governor's Club in Tennessee seeks a friendly, professional cart attendant to greet members, assist on arrival, and support daily course operations.

You will maintain golf carts, handle range ball recovery, and keep the club environment clean, with opportunities for playing and networking.

Qualifications

• Ability to work outside for extended periods.
• Must carry golf bags up to 20-30 pounds.
• Maintain a well-groomed appearance.
• Provide world-class service to members.

Responsibilities

• Greet members as they arrive and assist with first impressions.
• Maintain condition and appearance of golf cars, including cleanliness.
• Assist with opening/closing of cart and range operations.
• Oversee daily range ball recovery using mechanical and hand equipment.
• Keep work area clean and free of debris.
• Interact with members and staff professionally at all times.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• The position will be The Governor's Club's - 1st impression for the country club to first meet, greet, and assist the members when they arrive to the club
• Maintain condition of golf cars with specific attention to their cleanliness and appearance
• Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment including trash and debris
• Responsible for daily operations of range ball recovery utilizing both mechanical and hand machinery equipment
• Follow procedures for proper opening and closing of the cart and range operation
• Remain courteous and professional with patrons and co-workers at all times

Requirements

• Successful applicants must be able to:
• Work outside for extended periods
• Carry golf bags and other items up to 20-30 pounds
• Maintain a well-groomed appearance
• Communicate with members, guests and other staff in a professional and friendly manner
• Work in a team environment to make sure that our members receive world-class service
• Pass a pre-placement background check/Drug Test
• Drivers License
