Job summary

Apple Mountain Golf Club in Clarkesville, Georgia, is seeking a full-time, hourly Lead Golf Operations Attendant to join our team. The role requires availability on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, with flexible additional days. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and holiday pay.

Responsibilities include assisting guests, supporting tournament setups, cart maintenance, and ensuring a positive guest experience. Golf course experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Creates a positive experience by assisting guests and members with outside services.
• Maintains the clubhouse, cart storage area, and parking lot in a neat and orderly condition.
• Assists in the setup and execution of golf tournaments and outings.
• Provides sincere and courteous service, including bag handling and club cleaning.
• Educates players regarding course policy, cart policy, pace of play, and related information.
• Prepares golf carts for play following established standards.

Responsibilities

• Assists with the overall upkeep of the clubhouse, cart storage area and parking lot.
• Assists in the setup and execution of golf tournaments and outings.
• Provides courteous service to guests, including bag handling and club cleaning.
• Maintains cart staging and wash areas in a neat, clean condition.
• Prepares golf carts for play and educates players on policy and pace of play.
• May direct start of play and handles cart fleet upkeep.
• Assists with food and beverages activities.
• Cleans golfers' clubs after play.
• Supports training, scheduling, and leadership of golf operations team.

Education

Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
