Jersey Meadow Golf Course in Jersey Village, TX is seeking a part-time Golf Course Marshal/Starter to help run the course smoothly and deliver exceptional guest service.

You’ll coordinate tee times, assist players with starting times, monitor pace of play, and support golf professionals in daily operations while ensuring a friendly, professional environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a golf course environment preferred but not required.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Knowledge of golf rules and etiquette is an asset.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Tee Time Coordination: Efficiently manage the scheduling and coordination of tee times to optimize course flow and enhance the player experience.
• Customer Service: Provide outstanding service to our guests by assisting with starting times, answering inquiries via telephone, and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
• Tournament Operations: Assist in the planning and execution of golf tournaments, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to established rules and policies.
• Pace of Play Management: Monitor and enforce pace of play guidelines to ensure an enjoyable experience for all golfers.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of daily play totals and other pertinent information to support operational efficiency and decision-making.
• Additional Duties: Assist Golf Professionals with various tasks as needed to support the overall operation of the golf course.
