Job description

Work Type: Part-time/Seasonal

Nature of Work: Summary:
This work involves the maintenance of golf course grounds.

Education and Experience: (The knowledge, skills, and abilities above may be acquired through, but are not limited to, the following combination of education and/or experience.)

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Competencies and skills:
Essential:
* Ability to understand written and oral instructions
* Ability to push a lawn mower from 75 to 100% of the work day
* Ability to use up to one hundred (100) pounds of force occasionally and seventy-five pounds of force frequently to move objects

Essential Functions: (Any one position may not perform all of the duties listed, nor do the listed examples include all of the duties that may be performed in positions allocated to this classification.)

Detailed responsibilities:
* Mows grass and trims trees and hedges
* Picks up trash and litter and empties trash receptacles
* Moves tee markers and putting green cups
* Rakes and maintains sand traps
* Performs primary maintenance on equipment, ensuring that oil is at the proper level and that they are filled with fuel
* Performs other duties as assigned or as the situation dictates within the scope of this classification

Special Qualifications: Other information:
Must be at least 18 years old.

Must be able to work varied hours and days, including weekends and holidays.

Pay Range: Depends on Experience
