Job summary

O’HReilly Hospitality Management, LLC (OHM) seeks a Golf Landscape Technician for BigShots Springfield in Missouri. You will perform maintenance tasks and manage routine repairs to maintain facilities and guest experiences.

The role requires leadership, technical know-how in HVAC/plumbing/electrical work, and the ability to coordinate with management on events and AV needs. Flexible hours include nights/weekends, with a focus on safety and high-quality service.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor and routine maintenance tasks using hand tools (painting, plumbing, electrical).
• Replace air-conditioner filters and report major repairs.
• Maintain HVAC, heating, cooling and hot water systems.
• Respond to guest service requests per policy.
• Coordinate with management on activities and AV needs.
• Keep work areas clean and follow preventive procedures.
• Maintain equipment records and safety data sheets.
• Monitor daily equipment readings and program HVAC controllers.
• Ensure clean, safe facility appearance and stock supplies.
• Inspect and repair issues in common areas; learn emergency procedures.
• Adhere to lockout-tagout procedures for safety.
• Attend scheduled shifts on time and in uniform.
• Support OHM culture: O’Reach, Green Team, Guest Service, etc.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Location: BigShots Golf - Springfield, MO

• Perform minor and routine maintenance tasks, including painting, plumbing, and electrical wiring using hand tools.
• Replace air-conditioner filters and notify management of major repair needs.
• Tend to heating, cooling, and hot water systems as necessary.

• Maintain clean and safe work areas and follow preventive maintenance procedures.
• Keep records of equipment maintenance and repairs, including Material Safety Data Sheets.
• Observe daily equipment and utility meter readings and program HVAC controllers according to the facility schedule.
• Ensure the quality appearance of the facility's interior and exterior, including painting and minor repairs.
• Maintain an orderly inventory of finishing supplies and ensure proper stocking of regularly used parts.
• Inspect and repair minor issues in common areas and learn emergency procedures.
• Ensure the safe operation of equipment and chemicals, following lockout procedures.
• Report for scheduled shifts on time and in uniform, adhering to company policies.

Skills & Abilities:

Education & Experience:

• Certificate from a Vocational Institution and completion of apprenticeship in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical repair preferred.
• Current Driver’s License required.

Hours:

• Flexible schedule required, including nights and weekends as needed, with responsibilities for emergency responses outside regular hours.

Physical Requirements:

• Heavy work; ability to exert up to 100 pounds occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and 20 pounds constantly to move objects.

Physical Activity:

• Activities include climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, typing, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motion.

Visual Acuity Requirements:

• Close visual acuity needed for data analysis, inspections, and operation of machinery, as well as determining accuracy and thoroughness of work.

Environmental Conditions:

• Activities occur both indoors and outdoors, with exposure to various hazards, including moving mechanical parts, electrical currents, and chemicals.
• May involve work in confined spaces or at heights, with potential claustrophobia risks.
• This is a safety-sensitive position that may be subject to additional safety requirements.
