Job summary

2nd Swing in Eden Prairie, MN is seeking an Inventory Analyst to keep stock accurate, priced right, and moving across both new and used inventory. You’ll blend data work with golf product knowledge, spending time in spreadsheets and understanding the product line.

Responsibilities include tracking levels, aging, and sell-through; pricing against market comps; and building ongoing reports while coordinating with stores and e-commerce to balance inventory.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in inventory analysis or retail analytics.
• Experience with stores and e-commerce platforms.
• Strong Excel with pivot tables and lookups.
• Knowledge of golf industry brands and cycles.

Responsibilities

• Track inventory levels, aging, and sell-through.
• Monitor pricing against market comps.
• Set markdowns, promotions, transfers and measure impact.
• Analyze trade-in and buy-side data for acquisition values.
• Plan future orders using historical sales data.
• Advise buyers on order quantity and timing.
• Build reporting on turnover, margin, stock accuracy.
• Balance inventory across locations and channels.
• Flag trends for new model releases and seasonal swings.
