Ideal candidates are extremely organized, highly motivated, and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. Instructors will work closely with the General Manager to promote and conduct all golf instruction and player development programs to meet the needs in the local marketplace. Previous golf instruction experience is required for the position.

Our team has made a conscious effort to ensure strong protocols are in place to keep you and our patrons safe, on and off the property, so you can focus on the golfer experience and camaraderie.

Responsibilities

  1. Works closely with the General Manager to plan and develop instruction programs that appeal to all golfer segments in the surrounding market.
  2. Provides golf instruction to private students and group participants as demand dictates and as needed.
  3. Required minimum of three (3) instructional group programs or camps per month (After school camps, Ladies events, beginners clinics, etc.).
  4. Provides training and development to other instructors as directed and as needed.
  5. Assists in the supervision and upkeep of the practice facilities to ensure that safe, clean, organized, and professional conditions exist throughout.
  6. Assists in keeping all teaching aids and instruction inventory in excellent condition.
  7. Utilizes state‐of‐the‐art teaching and learning theories, and integrates the use of training aids, video tape, and club fitting into the facility’s instructional programs when necessary.
  8. Participates in administrative duties as directed and as needed to ensure smooth operation of the golf instruction program.
  9. Performs some of the opening and closing duties of the instruction program as directed.
  10. Represents the facility in the community and with local businesses through promotional activities and programs.
  11. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Education and Experience Requirements

  1. PGA or LPGA Member preferred.
  2. Must be a dedicated golf instructor with a minimum of 1 year related experience in golf instruction and club‐fitting techniques.
  3. Must possess exceptional communication skills.
  4. Highly polished interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with people easily and quickly.
  5. Must be extremely organized, efficient, and detail‐oriented.
  6. Must be highly motivated, goal-driven, and a self‐starter.
  7. Knowledge of the local market is a plus.

Working Conditions

  1. Regularly required to reach with arms and hands.
  2. Required to walk, stand, talk or hear, handle, feel or operate objects.
  3. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 30lbs occasionally.
  4. Occasionally be required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  5. Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, and depth perception.
  6. Noise level is moderately quiet.
  7. Work extended hours during golf and holiday season.
