Job summary

World of Golf in Florence, KY is seeking a Golf Instructor to teach fundamentals in group or private lessons, oversee range setup, and promote all club golf activities including junior clinics.

You will coordinate weekly clinics, maintain teaching aids and equipment, and support the Director of Instruction with curriculum activation and training development, while ensuring safe practices and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years related experience and/or training.
• Class A PGA/LPGA not required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Teaches the fundamentals of golf in group or private lessons.
• Oversees range set-up and equipment.
• Maintains general upkeep of the driving range, lesson tee and storage shed.
• Promotes all club golf activities including junior golf clinics.
• Coordinates and teaches clinics on a weekly basis.
• Acts as liaison between World of Golf and the Club regarding school schedules, needs, and equipment.
• Maintains an up-to-date inventory of teaching aids including video equipment.
• Assists Director of Instruction with activating curriculum and programming.
• Develops ongoing training programs.
• Incorporates safe work practices and maintains regular attendance.

• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Regular and reliable attendance.

Minimum Qualifications:

• One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience (multi-course facilities may require more experience).
• Class A member of PGA/LPGA not required.

Other Qualifications:

Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Experience with computerized POS and tee time system.
