Job summary

Snowshoe Mountain is seeking a Golf Groundskeeper for Summer 2026, an entry level seasonal role at Snowshoe, WV. The job includes daily grounds prep for greens and fairways, hand raking bunkers, weed-eating, and maintaining course aesthetics.

Starting immediately, with on-mountain housing available. Schedule may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays; 15.25 USD per hour with on-site benefits and employee perks through Alterra network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares greens, tee complexes and fairways for daily play by walk mowing, hand raking bunkers, weed-eating areas, edging bunkers, signage areas, landscape beds, drains and irrigation heads, fly-mowing around bunkers, hand-blowing of grass clippings and leaves, trimming irrigation heads, drains, picking up branches and trash at the driving range as well as the golf course, including trash receptacles, mulching of walk and step paths, filling divots with sand seed mix and dragging fairways throughout the course
• Maintains equipment used in daily preparations by checking oil, gas, fluid levels; properly cleaning equipment, putting back equipment back in its proper place and reporting any problems with equipment.
• Assists in project work and participates in construction By Preparing soil beds, sodding, seeding, digging hole for irrigation repairs, digging trenches, and installing drain tile.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
