Job summary

Punderson Manor Lodge in Newbury, Ohio is seeking a part-time Golf Grounds Crew Technician to maintain the golf course and grounds, ensuring a high-quality guest experience. The role is hourly, with duties including mowing, irrigation maintenance, and course setup for events.

Responsibilities include keeping the course clean and well-presented, operating equipment safely, and lifting up to 50 pounds in varying weather. Training and career development are offered as part of our benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Prior experience in golf course maintenance preferred.
• Ability to operate various hand tools and power equipment.
• Knowledge of turf care and golf course etiquette.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Physical ability to work in varying weather conditions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on the golf course: mowing, raking, trimming, and aerating greens and fairways.
• Ensure course cleanliness and presentation: pick up trash, remove debris, maintain flower beds.
• Maintain irrigation and drainage systems with hand tools and small equipment.
• Assist with setup and preparation for tournaments and events.
• Operate larger equipment (mowers, tractors) safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment following safety procedures.
• Report issues or repairs to the Golf Course Superintendent.

This is a part-time, hourly position and the selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining the golf course and grounds to ensure a high-quality golfing experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks on the golf course, including mowing, raking, trimming, and aerating greens and fairways
