Job summary

UHI North, West and Hebrides is recruiting to deliver the Golf curriculum at Dornoch campus. The lecturer will support two full-time degree programmes and contribute to student learning, assessment and progression within the golf discipline.

The role requires a passion for golf, strong communication skills and a proven ability to plan, teach, assess and supervise learners in a dynamic academic setting.

Qualifications

• SCQF Level 7–12 qualification in a relevant subject area.
• Golf industry experience, preferably with management responsibilities.
• Strong planning, teaching, assessment and supervision abilities.
• Teaching qualification or Masters in Education is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver structured education to students across golf programmes.
• Carry out assessments, maintain accurate records and evaluate progress.
• Adapt delivery to best suit candidates' knowledge and experience.
• Communicate effectively in a fast-moving academic environment.
