Job summary

Genesis Distribution is seeking a superintendent for our golf course to oversee daily operations and uphold premier playing conditions. The role entails supervising grounds staff, managing irrigation and fertilization, and coordinating with vendors and contractors to maintain greens, fairways, tees and bunkers.

The position requires 3+ years in golf course maintenance, a high school diploma, and ideally a bachelor’s in turf management or related field. It is a full-time, year-round on-site role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in golf course maintenance or related role.
• Experience as an assistant superintendent.
• Preferred Bachelor's in turf management, agronomy, horticulture or related field with hands on experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high quality playing conditions and daily course operations.
• Supervise grounds staff and schedule tasks; provide training.
• Maintain irrigation systems, equipment, and course facilities.
• Monitor turf health, manage pest control, and environmental compliance.
• Assist with budgets and course improvement projects.
