KemperSports Management is seeking a Golf Course Superintendent in California to oversee care and maintenance of the golf course, grounds, and equipment. You will plan and implement budgets, hire, train and supervise staff, and ensure quality standards are consistently met.

Responsibilities include drainage and irrigation system management, turf and plant care programs, course construction supervision, equipment maintenance, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 2 or 4-year turf management degree preferred.
• Class A Superintendent or above with 3 years golf course maintenance, supervisory and/or management experience.
• Demonstrated experience in budget development, fiscal management and strategic planning.
• Excellent leadership abilities and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems and manage multiple duties under pressure.

Responsabilités

• Produce excellent playing conditions on a day-to-day basis.
• Develop and manage the annual maintenance budget and operating plan.
• Plan staffing schedules to meet quality standards and control costs.
• Maintain the golf course in proper playing condition per company standards.
• Develop and maintain drainage, irrigation, pumping and water systems.
