Job summary

BrightView Landscapes is seeking a Spray Technician with chemical fertilization or pesticide industry experience to serve commercial clients. The role requires working professionally, maintaining a strong safety record, and applying turf and tree/shrub care products with attention to label instructions.

The candidate should have MDARD pesticide licenses (3a/3b preferred) and a valid driver’s license with Chauffeur endorsement.

Qualifications

• Not an entry level position; requires pesticide application work experience and verifiable references.
• MDARD Pesticide Licenses (3a & 3b preferred; 6 Core – REQUIRED)
• Valid Driver’s License with Chauffeur’s Endorsement is REQUIRED
• Must pass MDOT Medical exam (drug screen)

Responsibilities

• Mixing and applying turf and tree/shrub care products following labels and charts.
• Apply fertilizers and insecticides to turf and ornamental plants per schedule and safety rules.
• Drive the company vehicle to customer locations.
• Work independently while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Assist with seasonal landscaping tasks as needed, including fall clean-up and winter snow events.
