Job summary

Apex Park and Recreation District's golf course is seeking a friendly Golf Course Server to provide prompt, professional food and beverage service in the clubhouse, patio, and on-course areas. You will help create a positive guest experience by ensuring accurate orders, timely service, and a clean environment.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years old.
• Food safety knowledge or willingness to learn.
• Experience in food and beverage or customer service preferred; on-the-job training provided.
• Ability to operate a POS system and perform basic math transactions accurately.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and courteously and present menus.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
• Serve food and beverages in accordance with quality, presentation, and safety standards.
• Prepare and deliver alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in compliance with laws and policies.
• Check identification and follow responsible alcohol service guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, service stations, bar area, and surrounding workspaces.
• Process guest payments accurately, including cash, credit cards, and member charges.
• Restock supplies, condiments, and beverages as needed.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management to ensure timely service.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally or elevate to a supervisor when necessary.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines, including proper food handling procedures.
