• Welcome customers and provide personalized merchandise recommendations.
• Assist with golf apparel, footwear, equipment, accessories, and gifts.
• Process purchases, returns, exchanges, member charges, and other transactions accurately.
• Maintain attractive displays and a clean, organized golf shop.
• Receive, tag, replenish, and assist with inventory.
• Answer questions about merchandise, golf shop services, and club activities.
• Support tournaments, member events, promotions, and special projects.
• Collaborate with Golf Professional staff and other resort departments.

The King and Prince Golf Club is seeking a friendly, polished, and detail-oriented Golf Course Retail Associate to create an exceptional shopping experience for our members and visitors. This position supports the daily operation of the golf shop through attentive service, retail sales, merchandising, inventory assistance, and general golf shop support.

The King and Prince Golf Club is undergoing an exciting renovation designed by Beau Welling, with plans to reopen in fall 2026 as an elevated private club experience. This is a unique opportunity to join the team during an important new chapter in the club’s history.

As a representative of The King and Prince Golf Club and The King and Prince Beach & Golf Resort, you will help create an environment that feels welcoming, refined, and reflective of our coastal hospitality.

What You’ll Do

• Welcome customers and provide personalized merchandise recommendations


• Assist with golf apparel, footwear, equipment, accessories, and gifts


• Process purchases, returns, exchanges, member charges, and other transactions accurately


• Maintain attractive displays and a clean, organized golf shop


• Receive, tag, replenish, and assist with inventory


• Answer questions about merchandise, golf shop services, and club activities


• Support tournaments, member events, promotions, and special projects


• Collaborate with Golf Professional staff and other resort departments

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent


• Previous retail, hospitality, golf operations, or customer service experience preferred


• Golf shop, private club, luxury resort, or specialty retail experience is beneficial


• Basic knowledge of golf merchandise and terminology preferred


• Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills


• Accuracy when handling transactions and account information


• A professional appearance and a genuine interest in helping others

This position requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift or move up to 30 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. Availability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, tournaments, and special events, is required.
