Hyland Hills Park & Recreation District is seeking a Golf Pro Shop Assistant Manager to oversee daily Pro Shop operations, Outside Services, cart barn, and practice facilities. The role includes staff supervision, guest service, and coordination of merchandising and golf programs.
Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma and at least one year in golf operations; PGA affiliation is preferred. A valid driver’s license is required for district vehicle duties.

Under the supervision of the Golf General Manager, the Golf Pro Shop Assistant Manager assists with the day-to-day operations of the Pro Shop and Outside Services, including the cart barn and practice facility. This position assists with staff supervision, guest service, golf operations, merchandising, tournaments, programs, and other activities that support the efficient operation of the golf course and provide a positive experience for guests.
High school diploma or equivalent and at least one (1) year of experience in golf operations, reservations, retail, recreation, hospitality, customer service, or a related environment.
Relevant college or university coursework in Recreation, Physical Education, Business Management, Finance, Accounting, or a related field may substitute for up to six (6) months of the required experience.
Golf industry experience and/or PGA affiliation is preferred.
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record, as required to operate District vehicles and equipment in the performance of assigned duties.

Hyland Hills Park & Recreation District offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support employees and their families, including:
Paid Time Off (PTO): 216 hours annually, accrued at 8.31 hours per pay period, for use toward vacation, holidays, and sick leave.
Extended Illness Bank (EIB): Accrues at 3 hours per pay period, up to a maximum of 480 hours, for use during qualifying FMLA leave.
The District pays 100% of monthly medical, dental, and vision premiums for the employee, spouse, and eligible dependents, representing an annual employer-paid value of approximately $9,600–$23,000, depending on coverage level.

Dental coverage is provided through Delta Dental, and vision coverage through VSP.
