Job summary

Classic Club in Palm Desert, CA is seeking a part-time Players Assistant for a seasonal position to help monitor the pace of play and deliver high-quality guest service. You will engage with guests, communicate with the Pro Shop, and support course operations to ensure an enjoyable round.

As part of Troon’s portfolio, you’ll join a global leader in golf and community management, contributing to a welcoming, efficient pace and professional service across the course and surrounding spaces.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a professional appearance.
• Maintains a reasonable pace of play on the golf courses.
• Communicates with and assists the Pro Shop in keeping an accurate pace of play.
• Communicates with the Starter and Pro Shop about any pace of play concerns.
• Assists Outside Staff Attendants as needed.
• Advises guests of course conditions, expected pace of play, local rules, and other golf-related issues.
• Implements and supports all course policies and programs as communicated by management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
