The Hartford Golf Club in Connecticut is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to join the grounds team, overseeing maintenance of a 256-acre property and a 27-hole Donald Ross course. You will support the Superintendent and lead a small crew to ensure top playing conditions for members.

The ideal candidate has a turf management degree (2- or 4-year) and at least one year of supervisory experience, plus a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 2- or 4-year degree in Turf Management or related field.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Willing to obtain state certifications as needed.

Responsabilités

• Assist in maintenance of the golf course and grounds.
• Manage personnel and coordinate staff.
• Oversee irrigation systems and apply chemicals and fertilizers.
• Coordinate improvement projects with Superintendent.
