Job summary

Fellows Creek Golf Club in Canton, MI seeks a dedicated Full-Time Mechanic to service a wide range of golf course maintenance equipment. Join a fast-paced, hospitality-focused property within the Troon family and contribute to reliable equipment operations.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, diagnosing mechanical issues, machining or welding as needed, keeping maintenance records, and ensuring safe work practices.

Qualifications

• Certificate from college or technical school or 3–6 months related experience.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to read and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a preventative maintenance program on all equipment and tracks parts and expenses.
• Inspects, diagnoses, and repairs mechanical defects on golf course maintenance equipment.
• Performs grinding/sharpening of mower blades and overhauls of motors and reels; repairs braking systems.
• Maintains records of maintenance and parts ordered; ensures safe work practices and attendance.
