Job summary

Palmetto Bluff Company, LLC is seeking a skilled Golf Course Assistant Mechanic for Crossroads in Bluffton, SC. Under the supervision of the Head Mechanic and the Golf Course Superintendent, you will maintain all aspects of vehicle, equipment and cutting reel systems, ensuring work follows safety guidelines.

The role involves performing preventive maintenance, lubrication, parts replacement, and supporting complex overhauls.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills; team oriented.
• Previous experience in repair and maintenance of automotive/mechanical equipment.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and manuals.
• Ability to communicate with co-workers, service technicians, and members.
• Personal set of tools is desired.

Responsibilities

• Lubricate equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
• Perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs.
• Assist Head Mechanic with engine/transmission overhauls and related systems.
• Maintain records of work performed and PM schedules.
• Set up and maintain mowing equipment and gear.
