Job summary

cmpcareers is seeking Golf Maintenance Workers to support golf course facilities through routine unskilled and semi-skilled tasks, ensuring quality as per Park District policies.

You will perform mowing, weed trimming, plant and facility maintenance, and basic equipment care, with a focus on safety and reliable communication with supervisors.

Flexibility to work weekends/holidays and adapt to a dynamic outdoor environment is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma not required, per listing.
• Demonstrated ability to perform variable physical requirements of golf course work.
• Ability to speak and write clearly, concisely with correct grammar and punctuation.
• Ability to work independently and with others.

Responsibilities

• Performs unskilled and semi-skilled routine work such as mowing, weed trimming, plant maintenance and general building/facility maintenance.
• Performs routine maintenance on golf equipment.
• Makes minor mechanical repairs and service on division's equipment as directed.
• Keeps direct supervisor promptly informed of key/significant issues or concerns.
• Carries out duties in a safe and efficient manner to maintain a safe work environment and promptly reports hazards.
• Performs related duties as assigned or apparent.
