Job summary

A private golf community near Nashville is seeking an Equipment Operator to maintain golf course standards. Responsibilities include operating various types of equipment, mowing, and performing construction work. Candidates should have a High School Diploma, a valid driver’s license, and experience in golf course maintenance or construction. Qualifications

• Prior experience working on a golf course maintenance team or similar construction experience.
• Positive attitude and professional demeanor.
• Ability to meet the physical demands including lifting over 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operates all types of equipment including utility vehicles and mechanical sand trap rakes.
• Mows greens, tees, fairways with various power mowers.
• Performs renovations and construction work as necessary.
• Loads and unloads materials, excavates and backfills ditches.

Skills

Knowledge of large and small engine operation and repair

Knowledge of hydraulic powered machine operation and repair

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work in a team environment

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Valid Drivers License
