Boca West Country Club in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a GCM Assistant Superintendent to support daily course maintenance and long-range planning for one of its premier golf courses. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership and environmental stewardship.

You will assist in supervising staff, managing turf operations and seasonal programs, and ensuring high standards of playability and guest experience. Growth opportunities are available within a culture that promotes from within.

Formación

• 2–3 years in a supervisory or assistant golf course maintenance role.
• Knowledge of horticulture, turfgrass science, irrigation systems, and pest management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Superintendent in daily course maintenance operations, including mowing, irrigation, fertilization, aeration, pest control, and turf management.
• Supervise maintenance staff, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality standards.
• Monitor and adjust irrigation systems to maintain turf health and water conservation.
• Implement best practices for turf management and disease/pest prevention.
• Assist in planning and executing seasonal maintenance programs and projects.
• Maintain records of chemical applications, maintenance schedules, and operational costs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and club policies.
• Collaborate with course management to improve conditions and guest experience.
• Participate in staff training and development.
