Job summary

Raintree Country Club in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Golf Course Maintenance team member. This 40-hour per week role involves operating all daily maintenance equipment, mowing greens/tees/fairways, assisting in fertilization, installing drainage/irrigation as directed by the Superintendent, and ensuring safety in operation.

Weekend and holiday work are required; lifting up to 50 lbs and staying in good physical condition are expected.

Responsibilities

• Operate all equipment used daily in golf course maintenance.
• Mow greens, tees, and fairways with appropriate mowers.
• Assist in fertilization and daily upkeep of the course.
• Report mechanical issues to the Head Mechanic promptly.
• Install drainage and irrigation systems as directed by the Superintendent.
• Ensure safety and proper operation of equipment; stay aware of others on the course.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Superintendent or Assistant.

Raintree Country Club is a 36 hole private golf course located in south Charlotte, NC. near the intersection of highway 51 and Providence Road.

Compensation

$18.00 per hour
Applicant should be reliable, respectful, and be willing to learn.
Applicant will be able to:
Operate all equipment that is used daily in golf course maintenance operation.
Mow greens, tees, fairways with appropriate mowers
Assist in fertilization and daily upkeep of golf course
Report mechanical issues immediately to the Head Mechanic
Install detailed drainage and irrigation systems as directed by the Superintendent with precision and understanding.
Ensure safety and proper operation of equipment and maintains awareness of other associates and members in the course of operation.
Perform other duties as directed by the Assistant or Superintendent
Due to the nature of this position, the applicant must be able to lift 50 lbs and be in good physical condition.
This is a 40 hour per week position that offers health, dental, and vision insurance, 401k retirement, and other benefits.
