Mystic Dunes Resort in Kissimmee, FL, part of Troon, is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to manage day-to-day golf course operations and support the Golf Course Superintendent. This role emphasizes irrigation, fertilizer/pesticide application, and staff management within a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has turf management education and 1–3 years of golf course maintenance experience, with a valid driver license and the ability to obtain NC pesticide license within six months.

Qualificações

• Two-year certificate or degree in Turf Grass Management or related field preferred.
• Ability to obtain NC pesticide license within six months of employment.
• 1-3 years golf course maintenance experience.
• Valid Driver License.
• Ability to work scheduled holidays and weekends.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise, schedule and train a staff of full-time, part-time, and seasonal employees.
• Coordinate with the superintendent in planning and maintenance projects.
• Apply fertilizers and plant protectants with calibrated sprayers and spreaders; record applications.
• Perform irrigation scheduling and basic irrigation repairs.
• Perform basic mowing tasks and cultural practices as needed.
• Safely operate golf course equipment (carts, mowers, rollers, etc.).
• Maintain awareness of changing course conditions and communicate needs to the Superintendent.
