Job summary

BrightView Landscapes seeks a Superintendent to oversee golf course maintenance and operations. You will coordinate daily activities between the company, customer, and golf shop, ensuring smooth course operations and communication with key staff.

The role requires experience in all phases of golf course management, agronomy knowledge, and strong administrative abilities. A valid driver’s license and pesticide certification are expected as part of the responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in golf course management and turf culture.
• Familiar with greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and bunkers maintenance.
• Strong communication and administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct maintenance per contract specs.
• Develop long-term property improvement plans with the customer.
• Oversee course equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Manage annual budget estimates.
• Create and follow an agronomic plan within budget.
• Procure supplies for maintenance activities and prepare reports.
• Direct golf course staff including hiring and training.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and safety programs.

Education

Degree in agronomy/horticulture/soil science

Certified pesticide applicator

Valid driver’s license

Administrative and executive capabilities

Computer proficiency
