Job summary

Mariner Sands is seeking a Golf Maintenance Laborer to help maintain the golf course to high standards. The role involves mowing, landscaping, and equipment upkeep to keep play areas attractive and functional.

You will work with the maintenance team to implement seasonal care plans and respond to course-specific challenges, ensuring a positive experience for all golfers and supporting the club’s reputation for quality play.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Physical labor capability including lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions.
• Basic knowledge of landscaping and turf management practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine mowing and trimming of grass areas, ensuring a well-manicured appearance.
• Assist in landscaping features, including flower beds, trees and shrubs.
• Operate and maintain golf course maintenance equipment (tractors, mowers, blowers).
• Monitor course conditions and report turf health, irrigation, or pest issues.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team on seasonal plans and projects.
