Job summary

Pine Tree Country Club, managed by Troon, is seeking a Golf Course Maintenance team member to support daily turf care and course preparation. You will perform routine mowing, edging, and debris removal while ensuring safe operation of equipment in an outdoor environment.

Ideal candidates can read safety rules and manuals, work outdoors in varying weather, and assist with planting and irrigation tasks. This role emphasizes hands-on maintenance on a premier golf course.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to print and speak simple sentences.

Responsibilities

• Mows greens, tees, fairways and roughs.
• Operates motorized vehicles with standard transmissions.
• Uses weed-eaters and blowers for maintenance tasks.
• Edges, trims, and rakes bunkers to prep course for play.
• Plants trees and shrubs, maintains flower beds and weeds control.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Performs ground maintenance tasks: mow greens, tees, fairways and roughs
• Safely operate motorized vehicles with Standard transmissions
• Operate Weed-eaters, and blowers
• Edge and trim and rake bunkers
• Has advanced experience setting cups and preparing course for play
• Plant trees and shrubs, maintain flower beds, weed control, and leaf removal
• Fertilizes, prunes trees and shrubs; cut, roll, lay and water sod; install, and maintain sand bunkers
• Repairs potholes
• Trash/litter removal
• Perform Light irrigation duties (hand water, clean heads, make repairs
• Snow and Ice removal
• Other duties to be assigned

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, and technical procedures. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
