Job summary

Lubbock Country Club is seeking a Grounds Laborer/Irrigation Technician to support daily maintenance of the golf course and related grounds in Lubbock, Texas. The role focuses on efficient water use and healthy turf through irrigation system operation, inspection, maintenance, and repairs.

Responsibilities include debris removal, divot filling, plant care, irrigation line digging, leak inspections, and controller adjustments.

Qualifications

• Experience in grounds maintenance or irrigation work preferred.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems preferred.
• Ability to learn irrigation controllers and related equipment.
• Safety and PPE procedures must be followed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain golf course and surrounding grounds daily.
• Inspect for leaks and repair irrigation components.
• Install, adjust, and monitor sprinkler heads and watering schedules.
• Operate tools and equipment safely; document repairs and issues.
• Paint guardrails and perform general maintenance as directed.
