Job summary

Cordova Recreation & Park District operates the Cordova Golf Course and is seeking a self-driven team player for landscape and maintenance duties with strong customer service. The role supports turf care, irrigation, pruning, cleaning, and safety during daily operations. Seasonal, early-morning schedules apply, with shifts from 5:00 a.m.

to 1:30 p.m. or 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday and possible weekends; up to 40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or desirable.
• Experience in golf course maintenance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintenance of turf by mowing tees, greens, fairways and rough; edging, fertilizing, aerating and raking.
• Maintain golf course standards with daily setup, tee markers and hole locations.
• Assist in installation, repair and maintenance of irrigation systems.
• Hand watering greens and dry areas as needed.
• Prune and maintain shrubs and trees.
• Perform janitorial and grounds cleaning tasks.
• Operate maintenance equipment and keep tools organized.
• Maintain written records and reports.
