Job summary

The City of High Point, through its Parks & Recreation Department, is seeking a Golf Course Park Attendant to support daily maintenance and course operations. You will operate small equipment, assist with groundskeeping, and perform custodial tasks while ensuring safety and courteous service to the public.

Responsibilities include mowing, debris removal, basic repairs, and helping with driving range duties. Work may include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience and comfort working outdoors.
• Experience operating a computer.
• Valid North Carolina Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic golf course maintenance and repair work on grounds, facilities, and equipment.
• Maintains grounds: mowing, raking, weed eating, trimming, planting.
• Performs janitorial tasks at golf course facilities.
• Uses chemicals under supervisor direction.
• Prunes and mulches trees and shrubs; sods turf areas.
• Washes and cleans vehicles used for operations.
• Assists with driving range operations as needed.
• Ensures work complies with OSHA and City Safety Standards.
