Job summary

USAJOBS at Fort Benning Golf Course is seeking personnel for grounds maintenance and related duties. This role involves mowing, edging, pruning, fertilizing, cleaning floors and fixtures, and handling supplies.

You will operate and maintain equipment, move materials, and report shortages to supervisors to ensure smooth operations. Candidates should be comfortable performing physical labor, following safety protocols, and working as part of a team in an on-site environment at Fort Benning.

Qualifications

• Experience with grounds maintenance, landscaping or janitorial tasks.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety rules.
• Ability to lift and move supplies and equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Mows grass, trims lawns and edges walkways; maintains flowerbeds.
• Prunes shrubs/trees, applies fertilizer and waters plants.
• Loads/unloads materials and moves supplies using carts and dollies.
• Performs cleaning of floors, fixtures and areas with appropriate equipment.
• Notifies supervisor when more materials are needed.
