Job summary

Bully Pulpit Golf Course in Medora, ND, seeks a full-time seasonal Grounds Crew member to maintain turf, assist in irrigation, and support course setup. You will operate mowers, hand tools, and related equipment, follow safety procedures, and help keep the course in top condition.

Ideal candidates are reliable, able to follow instructions, and comfortable working outdoors in all weather. Prior golf course maintenance is a plus; a valid driver's license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and safe operation of golf course maintenance equipment.
• Previous work on a golf course is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of horticulture is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate greens mowers and other maintenance equipment as trained.
• Excavate ditches with hand tools and assist watering.
• Plan and cultivate lawns and turf based on landscaping designs.
• Cut and trim greens, fairways, tees, and roughs.
• Apply growth enhancers and disease inhibitors to greens and tees.
• Grade and prepare base, lay sod, and maintain greens and fairways.
• Prepare chemicals for application and apply as directed.
• Maintain equipment and logs; clean and report issues.
• Assist with irrigation system maintenance and winterizing procedures.
• Participate in workplace safety trainings and adhere to procedures.
