Job summary

Grand Casino Hinckley is seeking a Groundskeeper responsible for the overall care of the grounds and maintenance of the gardens and golf course on all entities and properties, with golf course duties limited to the Hinckley property. The role requires plant bed maintenance, pest/disease treatment, equipment operation, and adherence to safety regulations.

Candidates should have at least one year of landscaping or golf grounds experience and possess a MN Driver’s License.

Qualifications

Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
Physically capable to perform grounds maintenance tasks.
Collaborative with other staff and departments.

Responsibilities

Prepare, plant, and maintain plant beds across grounds and golf course.
Operate maintenance equipment and vehicles.
Remove trash and debris daily from grounds.
Perform snow shoveling as conditions require.
Ensure safe handling of chemicals and cleaning materials per manufacturer instructions.
Adhere to OSHA safety rules and company policies.
Mow turf, operate irrigation and related equipment.
Maintain equipment and report issues to management.
Mark course for cart control and maintain signs and barriers as needed.
