Job summary

The St. Joe Company is seeking a Grounds Technician at The Third Golf Course in Panama City Beach, FL. This full-time role performs semi-skilled grounds construction/maintenance, including bunkers, mowing greens, soil beds, and daily course setup.

You will operate small machinery and utility vehicles, assist with heavier equipment, and ensure safety and guest satisfaction. A sign-on bonus of $1,000 is payable after six months of satisfactory performance.

Qualifications

• Sufficient education and literacy to identify and read product labels.
• Ability to read, write and speak basic English.
• 3 years previous experience in a similar position preferred.
• Previous experience on a golf course required.

Responsibilities

• Performs general golf course and landscape maintenance using hand tools and equipment.
• Rakes and maintains sand bunkers.
• Mows the greens and cares for the turf.
• Assists with golf course set up procedures and heavier equipment maintenance.
• Operates small machinery for edging, trimming, and debris removal.
