Job summary

The Ford Field & River Club is seeking a dedicated general laborer to maintain its premier golf course. The role supports the Golf Course Superintendent in organizing and completing project tasks related to course upkeep.

Responsibilities include operating hand tools and light machinery to maintain tees, fairways, roughs, and greens, and assisting in other departments as needed. A high school diploma is required and applicants should be able to lift up to 100 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Some knowledge of operating light machinery and hand tools is needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools, light machinery and mowers for leaf blowing and mowing the tees, fairways, roughs, and greens of the golf course.
• Treat all members, guests and co-workers in a friendly, respectful manner in accordance with the standards of excellence set forth by The Ford Field and River Club.
• Understand and follow policies and procedures of the department and The Ford Field and River Club overall.
• Assist in other departments and perform additional related duties as required.
