Job summary

GreatLIFE Golf’s Preserve at Jordan Lake in Chapel Hill, NC is seeking a full-time, hourly Course Maintenance I to join our Agronomy team. Pay rate is $15.00–$18.00 per hour. A full benefits package includes Medical, Dental and Vision coverage, Paid Time Off and Holiday Pay.

Performs a diverse range of golf course maintenance and construction-related tasks to sustain daily course appearance and play readiness. Flexibility in hours is required.

Qualifications

• High school education preferred or related experience.
• Ability to perform physical labor and lift up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the course for daily play.
• Rake bunkers; cut and trim greens, tees, fairways and roughs.
• Water roughs and apply growth enhancers/disease control.
• Mow, edge, weed, and maintain turf with handheld/power tools.
• Plant grass, trees, shrubs or flowers per design.
• Deliver water on course and perform general maintenance tasks.
