Job summary

Bookcliff Country Club in Grand Junction, CO, is hiring a full-time Crew Foreman to direct irrigation and grounds projects. You will supervise seasonal staff, conduct maintenance on irrigation systems, and support cultural turf practices in a fast-paced hospitality-focused setting.

We seek a self-motivated team player with an AA or related experience, plus a valid driver’s license and pesticide license (or the ability to obtain). English proficiency is important for daily operations and safety.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (AA) or six months to one year of related experience.
• Valid driver’s license and Pesticide Application License (or ability to attain one).
• Must be a self-starter with a strong desire to learn and grow.
• Ability to read and speak English.
• Behaviors: detail-oriented, team player, dedicated.

Responsibilities

• Directs and participates in irrigation system maintenance and course watering.
• Assist cultural practices: spiking, top-dressing, aerification, fertilization, and spraying.
• Supervise seasonal staff on specified projects; train in chainsaw usage where needed.
• Communicate with Superintendent on course project teams, irrigation repair, and turf management.
• Assist with mowing greens, tees, fairways, rough, and course setup duties.
• May operate tractors, skid steers, and excavators for projects.
