Job summary

Lake Ridge Golf Course, part of Troon, in Woodbridge, VA, is hiring a full-time Grounds Crew Member. The role focuses on maintaining the golf course, mowing greens, watering, and assisting with irrigation. Compensation ranges from $15.00 to $18.00 per hour, with benefits including healthcare, retirement, and PTO.

You will support landscaping and course operations to create a premier guest experience. The position requires reliable, detail-oriented individuals with the ability to follow spray

Qualifications

• Must possess the ability to design, coordinate and maintain landscaping on the golf course.
• Experience with operating greens/fairway mowers preferred.
• Must possess the ability to create spray programs for the golf course including greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and landscaping.

Responsibilities

• Maintains clean and organized works areas on the golf course and maintenance facility.
• Mows greens, aprons, fairways, roughs, tees, and other areas.
• Waters tees, greens and fairways; operates irrigation heads in dry areas needing additional water.
• Repairs the irrigation system, pipes and irrigation heads as needed.
• Grades and prepares soil base, lays sod and seeds greens, tees and fairways.
• Trims and prunes hedges and shrubbery; cleans flower beds.
• Applies pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers to the golf course.
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisor or manager.
