Job summary

Troon International is seeking a Golf Course Grounds Crew member for a single 18-hole course in Waterloo, IA. Duties include mowing, trimming, watering, bunker maintenance, and general daily setup of the course.

Experience is not required, but a plus. Must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather and able to lift up to 50 pounds. Part-time hours are 10–20 per week during the semester, ramping to 40 hours after school ends.

Description

This position is for Golf Course Grounds Crew on an 18 hole golf course. Duties are, but not limited to: mowing, trimming, watering, bunker maintenance, flower and tree care and other tasks involved in the daily setup of the course.

Qualifications: Experience not necessary but a plus. Must be willing to work outside in various weather conditions and be able to lift 50 pounds.

Hours Required per Week: 10-20 hours during the semester. 40 after school is out

Scheduled Required: Normal daily hours from 6am to 2pm with half day morning’s every other weekend

Job Start Date: Would prefer persons that could start Late March working part time the remainder of the semester. Full time hours would start when school gets out.

Job Duration: Would prefer someone that could continue to work part time during the fall semester, but will consider summer only help.
