Job summary

Omni Amelia Island Resort & Spa is seeking a Greenskeeper I to maintain our golf courses, turf, and surrounding grounds under the direction of the Golf Course Superintendents.

The role involves operating mowing equipment, edge work, safety compliance, and teamwork to provide pristine playing conditions for guests and members. This on-site position requires physical stamina and a positive, professional attitude.

Qualifications

• Experience in groundskeeping or turf maintenance preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Familiarity with golf course etiquette and play conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate mowing equipment on greens, aprons, tees, and fairways.
• Edge cart paths and bunkers; maintain grounds and water features.
• Follow safety procedures and report issues to supervisor.
• Assist with project work and debris removal as directed.
• Maintain equipment and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Assist golfers and homeowners courteously and professionally.
