Job summary

Landscapes Golf Management and Manhattan Country Club are seeking an Equipment Technician to join our maintenance team. This role focuses on the maintenance and repair of all grounds keeping equipment and tools, ensuring optimal performance for our members and guests.

Responsibilities include establishing a preventative maintenance program, inspecting mowing equipment and club carts, performing repairs on engines and related systems, purchasing parts, maintaining accurate records, and training

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; associates preferred.
• 2+ years in small engine repair or lawn equipment preferred.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and inspects mowing equipment and club cars; reports issues to the Superintendent.
• Performs maintenance procedures and repairs for mowing equipment, club cars, small tractors and loaders.
• Establishes a preventative maintenance program for all golf equipment and carts.
• Operates small engine equipment, golf carts, small tractors and loaders.
• Trains operators on safe use of equipment.
• Purchases parts necessary for equipment maintenance and keeps records.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area and adheres to safety procedures.
• Attends staff meetings and participates in club/company initiatives.
