Job summary

Rodeo Dunes Golf Resort in Colorado is seeking an Equipment Tech to maintain our cutting-edge course maintenance machinery and lead a team of technicians. You will perform repairs, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance on mowers, utility vehicles, sprayers, tractors, and more to keep the course in peak condition.

The role requires 5+ years of hands-on repair experience, strong mechanical skills, and the ability to mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in equipment repair and maintenance, ideally in the golf or resort industry.
• Demonstrated mechanical proficiency, troubleshooting expertise, and ability to assess and repair complex equipment systems with minimal supervision.
• Strong knowledge of gas, diesel, 2-cycle engines, electrical systems, and hydraulics.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections, maintenance, and repairs on various golf course machinery, including mowers, utility vehicles, and specialized equipment.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and mechanical expertise to identify and address issues with engine, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Adjust and replace reels, modify cutting heights, and ensure quality turf maintenance and desired cut quality across the course.
• Assist in training equipment operators and technicians on machinery operation, safety protocols, and maintenance practices.
