Tanglewood Resort in Pottsboro, Texas is seeking a dependable Golf Maintenance Engineer to care for the golf course and equipment. You will safely operate large mowing equipment and perform routine maintenance on tractors and related gear.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while following safety guidelines to keep course conditions at their best for members and guests.

Qualifications

• Experience operating large commercial mowers, tractors, or similar heavy landscaping equipment preferred.
• Dependable with consistent attendance and on-time shifts.
• Able to work weekdays and weekends, including early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate large commercial mowers including fairways, roughs, greens, and other turf equipment.
• Operate tractors, utility vehicles, blowers, trimmers as assigned.
• Mow and maintain fairways, roughs, tees, approaches to established standards.
• Perform routine inspection before/after operation of equipment.
• Clean, fuel, grease, and care for equipment after use.
• Report unusual noises, leaks, or damage promptly.
• Follow mowing patterns, routes, and schedules.
• Exercise caution around greens, irrigation, bunkers, and guests.
• Assist with debris removal, landscaping, bunker work, irrigation tasks, and course cleanup.
• Maintain a clean, safe maintenance area.
• Follow safety procedures and cooperate with team.
