Job summary

East Potomac Golf Course in Washington, DC is hiring a full-time Equipment Operator to join Troon, a global leader in golf and hospitality management.

You will operate course maintenance equipment, mow greens and fairways, assist irrigation work, and support safety and teamwork across a busy property. Compensation is $17.50–$18.50 per hour with healthcare, retirement benefits, PTO, and growth opportunities. Experience is not required beyond a GED, but a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or related experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Ability to read and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Operates equipment used in daily golf course maintenance.
• Mows greens, tees, aprons, and approaches; uses gang mowers as needed.
• Maintains and checks fluid levels in equipment daily.
• Reports equipment problems to mechanic promptly.
• Assists in irrigation and drainage work as directed.
• Ensures safety of self and others during operation of equipment.
