Golf Club of Estrella, located in Goodyear, AZ, seeks a Full-Time Equipment Operator to maintain golf course grounds as part of Troon’s hospitality-focused team.

Responsibilities include operating maintenance equipment, mowing greens and fairways, and assisting with irrigation installations. Requires a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license. Regular attendance and English literacy are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Ability to read and speak English may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operates all equipment used in daily course maintenance.
• Mows greens, tees, aprons, and approaches inaccessible areas with gang mowers.
• Operates sod cutter, spray rigs and may assist in fertilization of greens and fairways.
• Mows fairways and rough areas; operates other equipment as directed.
• Maintains fuel, oil and other equipment fluid levels daily.
• Reports equipment problems to the mechanic.
• Installs irrigation and drainage systems as directed.
• Operates transit or level for proper grades/layout.
• Returns equipment to designated locations after use.
• Oversees other maintenance staff and ensures safe operation of equipment.
